Puerto Rico Weather in July

Averages By Month

July is one of the four hottest months in Puerto Rico with highs of 89°F. The sun shines for over 9 hours each day and the sea is beautifully warm with a water temperature of 82°F. It couldn’t be better for spending hours and hours on the immaculate beaches building sandcastles! However, the time on the beach will be interrupted by rain showers since it rains for 19 days on average. But you will even be able to enjoy your dinners outside without any sweater as it never cools down below 78°F, even during the night. July is also within the official hurricane season which will however only peak in the next month.

During the rainy hours, why not visit the El Yunque Rainforest, take a snorkel trip or visit one of the lovely museums around. And especially in July, get your dancing shoes ready for the World Salsa Congress and enjoy some fantastic art at the National Artisan Fair. And there are some great fireworks waiting for you on the 4th of July too!
