Orlando Weather in July

Averages By Month

With highs of 92°F, July is the hottest month in Orlando. The sun shines for almost 9 hours each day and even temperature lows are never below 75°F. Nearby sea water temperatures measure 80°F so it’s really worth enjoying some of the stunning white sand beaches at the same time when visiting Orlando! Together with the summer heat also comes the rainy season. In July there will be 13 rainy days on average. But that doesn’t mean that it will rain all day long- there will be passing showers so it’s worth bringing a rain poncho! In July the rain is mostly just rain whereas in August the hurricane season starts.

Children will be in paradise taking one rollercoaster ride after another and exploring one theme park after another. And when the children are happy and entertained so are the parents! And maybe mom or dad should be treated to a lovely spa experience while the kids enjoy the park!

Best Time to Visit Orlando

The subtropical climate in Florida means it’s beautifully warm all year round! Summers can get hot with highs of 92°F and it’s quite humid too so in case you are sensitive to humidity, best avoid the months between June and September. That’s also the rainy season in Orlando but usually there are only relatively quick passing rain showers. It’s really worth bringing a rain poncho as they will charge a lot for one in any of the parks.

Even in winter there are highs in the low 70s F - ideal for exploring the endless activities that Orlando has to offer! Rarely and particularly at night, Orlando can have lows in the low 50s F- so pack a jacket if travelling at that time of year! Spring and fall with temperatures in the high 70s F are a fantastic time to visit, especially if you’re planning lots of outdoor fun. Note that the hurricane season runs from August until October.
