Hong Kong Weather in June

Averages By Month

June Overview

In June, summer has now also come to Hong Kong, unlike perhaps areas further from the equator, summer tends to be humid and muggy. The average temperatures are now between 79°F (26°C) and 87°F (30°C). June is Hong Kong's rainy season and with around 19 days on average it will rain during your vacation, so it is recommended to pack enough rainwear!

So, why not go to a museum when it's raining outside? The Hong Kong Museum of Art is recommended, an art museum with over 16,000 exhibits of calligraphy, Chinese antiques, paintings and works by local artists. If that doesn't suit you, no problem, right in the same complex is the Hong Kong Space Museum and the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, which regularly hosts major concerts, orchestral performances and operas.
